Hello to all my watchers, and other randoms that pass by this page.

As many of you all may have noticed, I've not been very active recently. This is for a few reasons, the first being that because I'm in a different part of the house whilst the renovations are being completed in my bedroom, my connection is constantly wavering, making it hard to load dA. The second reason being something a little more important.

For a long time now I've found drawing to be a chore, and I no longer enjoy doing it anymore. Because of the various pressures of deadlines and impatient clients, the fun and thrill of being able to draw exactly what I see has been drained, and doesn't appear to be returning to me anytime soon. I have tried to start on different portraits, and draw things that I want, but I have completely lost the desire and will to create pencil portraits now. It's hard for me to admit this, as it has been a huge part of my life for the last few years, and it has become who I am, and what people know me for. If you watched me for my pencil work, don't expect to see any more of it for a very, very long time, because there won't be any.

I will continue to explore the digital mediums that I have been playing with, and I do hope to firstly finish my cg portrait of Johnny Depp, and continue on to do a few more of various other subjects.

So yeah, thats about it really. This doesn't mean I'm leaving dA (all you melodromatic people out there *rolls eyes*), it just means you won't be seeing pencil portrait art from me. (Lol, and saying this is probably going to make me go on a guilt trip and finish a portrait to submit hehe)
